We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong engineering and design background to support a short-term Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate must have extensive mechanical engineering experience, preferably within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.

• Review mechanical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documents.
• Review equipment datasheets, material requisitions and vendor documentation.
• Provide technical support for mechanical equipment, piping and related systems.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, constructability reviews and risk assessments.
• Review contractor submissions and resolve technical queries and design-related issues.
• Monitor engineering activities and ensure deliverables are completed according to the project schedule.
• Support site teams during construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and HSE requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and recommendations for management and the client

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience in mechanical engineering and design for Oil & Gas projects.
• Previous experience working with a PMC or engineering consultancy is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping systems and relevant engineering standards.
• Experience reviewing engineering deliverables, vendor documents and contractor submissions.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
